Proverbs 3:11-12 “Reproof”
Failure to Listen
We can be deaf to what we don’t want to hear.
We have to guard against isolation (18:1).
We will face terrible consequences if we refuse to listen to reproof.
Value of Reproof
We must see the value of what reproof brings.
Seeing that value should make us desire it.
True reproof points us to life.
Our Heart
We must be sure we have a posture before God where we can be reproved.
We must be listening on all channels to what God has to say.
We must be in God’s Word and surrounded by true friends.
